Job Lot of 24 Large 8ft Silver Picture Frames 2.5 m + 48 Acrylic Sheets

The complete matching set: 24 large-format silver picture frames, made to order by a specialist UK frame maker in 2023 and kept indoors at one location since. There are 2 acrylic (3mm) safety-glazing sheets per frame and the original box of fixings, unused and untouched since delivery. Offered as one job lot. Matching frames at this scale rarely appear second-hand.
The glazing: 23 unused sheets with the protective film still on both faces and 25 previously fitted sheets, all 2502 x 762 mm and 3 mm thick.
Each frame:
- Fits artwork or display material 2500 x 760 mm, up to 18 mm thick
- External size approximately 2620 x 875 mm, 44 mm deep; about 15.5 kg complete
- 64 mm Silver Scoop moulding, Ayous wood with a silver foil finish
- MDF backing and rear supports included
- Hangs portrait or landscape with appropriate professional fixings
Condition is very good throughout.
The set suits gallery and exhibition walls, hotel and restaurant installations, retail displays, large signage and seating plans, film, TV and event sets, or mirror conversion subject to assessment by a competent framer.
£1,550 for the complete set, which is under £65 a frame with two sheets each. The manufacturer currently charges £454.72 for one equivalent new frame with a single sheet, which is £10,913 across 24. Offers on the lot are welcome, and a smaller batch is possible if that suits better. Single frames are also listed separately at £113.68 each including two sheets.
Collection only, by appointment, from the SE23 area of London. Each frame is about 2.6 m long; a large van and two people are sensible for the full set.
